Roger’s Landing

Roger’s Landing is a community boat launch and docking facility located in River John. Owned and operated by the River John Community Action Society, the site was developed to improve access to the water for both residents and visitors.

The facility was the vision of longtime community volunteer Roger MacLellan, and is proudly named in his honour. The docks were put in place in 2021 and now serve as a hub for small boats, kayaks, and canoes throughout the warmer months.

Whether you’re setting out for a day on the water or just stopping by to enjoy the view, Roger’s Landing is a great example of what’s possible when a community comes together with a shared goal.

In 2023, we added a kayak launch in memory of Elaine Falconer. We know making the river that much more accessible and safe for everyone would bring Elaine tremendous joy!
